Volunteering
We need volunteers in a variety of capacities. Experience with horses is not necessary to volunteer with us. Volunteers at Centaur Stride have opportunities to learn, to teach, and to connect with a great group of people. As a Centaur Stride volunteer, you can share your skills, hobbies, and interests, learn new things, and meet new friends.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Horse care
- Rider assistance
- Event coordination
- Facility and grounds maintenance
- Equipment maintenance
- Special events
- Office/clerical
- Fundraising and community outreach
- Rider enrichment (planning fun and games!)
- Haying (seasonal)
- Housekeeping
**All volunteers at Centaur Stride must be at least 14 years of age, independent, responsible and able to follow instructions without supervision, and willing to consent to a background check.

Donations
Just like with volunteers, our barn has a major dependency on the donations or sponsorships for riders/horses and program operation costs. There are a lot of ways you can donate to help support. Whether it be donating time in our volunteer outreach options, or just simply emailing and asking if there are any supplies we are in need of. If you prefer, you may also send in money donations. Just below is a link to our donations page where you can send us as small or large of an amount as you like, there are no obligations but every dollar is greatly appreciated!
